; eau douce démersal. Tropical; 12°S - 17°S
Africa: Cutato River, a tributary of the Okavango in Angola. Recently recorded from the Cunene. Known only from a few specimens. The taxonomy of this species is under review and it is likely to be placed in another genus in the near future (Ref. 7248).
