Short description Chiavi di identificazione | Morfologia | Morfometria

Raggi dorsali molli (totale) : 11 - 13; Raggi anali molli: 24 - 27. Can be easily distinguished from all other species of Adrianichthyidae by the combination of the following characters: jaws subequal, 24-27 anal fin rays, eye conspicuously smaller than snout, about 75-85 scales in lateral row, 11-13 branched dorsal rays (Ref. 26747).

Biologia     Glossario (es. epibenthic)

Eggs are attached to the body, between the pelvic fins (Ref. 31267).

Life cycle and mating behavior Maturities | Riproduzione | Spawnings | Egg(s) | Fecundities | Larve

Eggs are carried, protected in a body cavity by the pelvics, until hatching.

Estimates based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82804):  PD50 = 0.5625   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.00389 (0.00180 - 0.00842), b=3.12 (2.94 - 3.30), in cm total length, based on all LWR estimates for this body shape (Ref. 93245).
Trophic level (Ref. 69278):  4.0   ±0.5 se; based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Fishing Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (11 of 100).
