海 深海魚; 深さの範囲 182 - 200 m (Ref. 5321). Deep-water; 2°S - 29°S
Western Indian Ocean: known only Kenya to Natal, South Africa.

Max length : 25.0 cm TL オス/雌雄の選別がない; (Ref. 5213)
背面の脊椎 (合計) : 0; 背鰭 (合計) : 65 - 72; 肛門の骨: 0; 臀鰭: 45 - 50. Eyed side buff in color with dark spots or blotches on body and dorsal and anal fins; 2 black spots on peduncle at base of last dorsal and anal rays (Ref. 5321).
Body shape (shape guide): fusiform / normal.
Found in coastal waters, over sandy and muddy bottoms (Ref. 5213).
