Body shape (shape guide): elongated.
Habitat characterized by a steeply dropping and craggy rock cliff with terrace-like flats covered by deposits of sand and detritus and with many horizontal and vertical, narrow cracks; compressed body and short pectorals indicate a life in narrow, vertical cracks (Ref. 47366).
