Short description

Espinas dorsales (total): 3; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 12; Radios blandos anales: 13 - 14. Main dorsal spine rigid, without joint. Dusky to yellow mid-lateral stripe and adults with several blue bars along upper sides (Ref. 48635).
Found on coastal waters. Occurs solitary or in small groups in seagrass habitats, inshore or in estuaries (Ref. 48635). Benthic (Ref. 75154). Largest shrimpfish (Ref. 48635).
