Found in large low tidal pools and surge channels (Ref. 9003). Feeds on zooplankton in the water column (Ref. 120445). May be found living within soft bodied invertebrates (e.g. salps) (Ref. 9003). Juveniles probably pelagic (Ref. 48372).
