Kurzbeschreibung Morphologie | Morphometrie

Rückenflossenstacheln (insgesamt): 11; Afterflossenweichstrahlen: 8; Wirbelzahl: 34. Garra cornigera is distinguished from other species of Garra in the Chindwin-Irrawaddy drainage, except G. bispinosa, in having a bilobed proboscis (vs. unilobed in G. litanensis, G. rotundinasus and G. qiaojiensis; or incipient in G. elongata and G. gravelyi). It differs from G. bispinosa in having fewer lateral line scales (33 vs. 34-35), fewer circumpeduncular scales (14 vs. 16), fewer transverse scale rows above and more below lateral line scales (3 1/2 vs. 4 and 3 1/2 vs. 2 1/2-3) (Ref. 117240).

Biologie     Fachlexikon (Englisch) (z.B. epibenthic)

Estimates based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82804):  PD50 = 0.5000   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.00759 (0.00331 - 0.01740), b=3.05 (2.88 - 3.22), in cm total length, based on LWR estimates for this Genus-body shape (Ref. 93245).
Widerstandsfähigkeit (Ref. 120179):  hoch, Verdopplung der Population dauert weniger als 15 Monate. (Preliminary K or Fecundity.).
Fishing Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (10 of 100).
