Spine dorsali (totale): 0; Raggi dorsali molli (totale): 51-61; Spine anali 0; Raggi anali molli: 49 - 58. First ray of the first dorsal fin and pelvic fin rays extremely elongated. Scales more than 75 in longitudinal series. Pectoral fin rays fewer than 18. Attains 5 cm SL.
