पृष्ठीय रीढ़ (सम्पूर्ण): 9; पृष्ठीय सौफट रेज़ (सम्पूर्ण): 13-14; गुदा कांटा 3; ऐनल सौफट रेज़: 14 - 15. Pectoral filaments 3; fin membranes uniformly brown like all other fins. Vomer lacks deciduous tooth plates on both sides throughout its life history. Posterior part of maxilla shallow, 2-3% of SL. Long tooth plate extension onto lateral surface of lower jaw, 9-10% SL (Ref. 41639).
Too small to be of major commercial importance (Ref. 57343).
