Occurs in the Orinoco delta. Recorded 100 km from Orinoco mouth (Ref. 189). Found in Pedernales channel, mouth of the Pedernales channel - Cotorra Island, Mánamo channel - Güinamorena, Guanipa river - Venado channel and Manamito channel (Ref. 51849).
