Comments: Known from eastern and western Cuba including Isla de la Juventud (Ref. 27158). Found in upland streams (Ref. 4537). Abundant in rivers and lakes with clear water and abundant vegetation throughout western Cuba (Ref. 13498). Also Ref. 27139.
