Comments: Known from Karimpuzha, Nilambura and Chalakudy River in Western Ghats of Kerala (Ref. 45255). Type locality, Chalakudy River, 26 km upstream of Chalakudy town, near Vettilappara, Kerala (Ref. 26282). Critically endangered (Ref. 45212). Also Ref. 31807, 41236, 43640, 43641, 79567. Status of threat: Critically endangered (Ref. 50614).
