Description synthétique
Morphologie | Morphométrie
Épines dorsales (Total): 7; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 9; Épines anales 1; Rayons mous anaux: 10. This species is distinguished by the following characters: the scales extend ventral to second dorsal fin along septum to hypural base, well-developed on caudal peduncle; mostly cycloid scales with a few ctenoid ones along midline; 19 pectoral rays; no conical teeth on lower jaw; spotted midlateral stripe slightly ventral to septum (Ref. 39342).
Collected above a series of waterfalls, together with Sicyopus discordipinnis and Stiphodon birdsong (Ref. 39342).
