পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 11 - 12; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 15-17; পায়ূ কাঁটা 3; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 13 - 15. Grey-brown in color.

Feeds on zooplankton. Rarely caught by anglers. Flesh is good to taste (Ref. 6641).
