背棘 (總數): 3 - 5; 背的軟條 (總數): 6-9; 臀棘 1; 臀鰭軟條: 11 - 14. Second dorsal fin lacking spine.
第二背鰭鰭缺乏棘。
Inhabit mangrove swamps close inshore. Nothing is known of its biology. This species is too small to be of any commercial value but may be taken as food by young of commercial fish species (Ref. 9836).
