Found in estuaries and rivers of the Gulf of Thailand (Ref. 12693), Mekong River at Nong Khai (Ref. 37773) and Tapi River (Ref. 38725). Common in the Chao Phraya River (from Nontaburi to Nakhon Sawan Provinces), the Nan River (at Phichit Province), the Yom River (at Phitsanulok Province), and the Tachin River (Ref. 32457). Found year-round (Ref. 32457). Caught with hook-and-lines and sold fresh in local markets (Ref. 32457). Utilized by the aquarium trade (Ref. 32457). Museum: Chao Phrya, Nakornsawan Province, KUMF 2862 (Ref. 2091). Also Ref. 32444.
