Marine; bathypelagic; oceanodromous (Ref. 51243); depth range 100 - 1000 m (Ref. 58018). Deep-water; 30°N - 30°S
Indian and Southeast Atlantic: 8°N-15°S; also in the Agulhas Current south to about 40°S. Pacific Ocean: 30°N-30°S. South China Sea (Ref.74511).
