Etymology: Yunnanilus: From Yunnan, city on southwest China; mentibarbatus: Name 'mentibarbatus' from the Latin words 'mentum' and 'barbatus', meaning 'chin' and 'bearded or barbels', in reference to the unique short barbel on the mentum of the female new species.
