Dorsal spines (total): 4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 23 - 25; Anal spines: 2; Anal soft rays: 7. Last simple dorsal fin ray spine not serrated; dorsal fin rays branched; transverse row of 10-12 open pores (5-6 on each side) across snout posteriorly directed toward middle of orbit (Ref. 42977).
