Etymology: Enteromius: Greek, enteron = intestine + Greek, myo, mys = muscle (Ref. 45335).
Eponymy: Révérend Père Gustaaf Hulstaert (1900–1990) was a missionary, an entomologist and botanist in the Belgian Congo from 1925. He wrote: Rhopaloceres nouveaux du Musee du Congo Belge (1926). He collected the holotype of this species. (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
