Etymology: yarae: Named after a Brazilian legend, Yara (Iara or Uiara), a beautiful Amazonian indigenous and
excellent warrior, thrown into the water as a punishment and was saved by the fishes, then assumed a chimerical form (part fish and part woman), empowered with enchantment. In the indigenous Tupi mythology, Yara means 'mother of water' or 'mãe d’águ' in Portuguese.
