Short description
Morphology | Morphometrics
Vertebrae: 30 - 31. No scales on the vertex of head. One dark black stripe from the tip of the snout to the eye; mid-lateral line with 8 - 11 spots. A small, sharp black spot just above the upper base of the caudal fin. 8 - 9 dorsal short, ashy brown bars from occiput to the base of the caudal fin; forked caudal fin with 4 - 5 W-shaped bands. Pectoral, ventral and anal fins with stripes or spots. Least depth of caudal peduncle 50 - 60.24% (mean 54.09) of its length and 7.69 - 8.11% of SL (Ref. 38333).
