Marine; bathydemersal; depth range 1400 - 2600 m (Ref. 6871). Deep-water; 30°N - 46°S
North Atlantic: west coast of Africa off Cabo Barbas, Spanish Sahara and the Canary Islands; off New York, USA and southern outlet of Davis Strait, Canada. Indian Ocean: submarine seamounts in 1,400-1,730 m (Ref. 6871) and off St Helens, Tasmania (Australia) in 1,480-1,700 m (Ref. 6871). Southwest Pacific: New Zealand (Ref. 26346).
