Caudal fin in adult covered in scales and its corners rounded. The lower pharyngeal bone and teeth are as in S. g. galilaeus and the anterior blade is from 1.4 times the length of the toothed area at 8.8 cm SL to twice as long in the holotype (16 cm SL). |
