Uniformly tan to light brown with a dark ring around each eye.

Description: Characterized by body depth at gill opening 18-25 in TL; origin of dorsal fin about midway between corner of mouth and gill opening; anus anterior to middle of body; without canine teeth; conical to nodular teeth jaw teeth (Ref. 90102).
