A large species with modal counts of 10 dorsal spines, 40 total dorsal fin supports, 37 segmented anal rays, 15 pectoral rays, two preopercular canal pores and 5 predorsal bones; upper lip fimbriae usually 9-10; eye diameter greater than preorbital length; lateral line interrupted or complete (Ref. 39697). |
