Comments: | The official version of the introduction is it entered the country accidentally with Chinese carps fry. However, another version is that less than 100 individuals from the Moscow zoo was introduced to Uzbekistan by a fish farm manager. It has escaped into the Syr-Darya river via outlet channels and by land. Numerous transports helped them penetrate into basins of other rivers (Ref. 37487). Also Ref. 74657.
