| Comments | The culture of these species was not successful due to technical, ecological (high temperature of the Black sea surface water) and marketing problems. Nevertheless, few companies are still involved in Atlantic salmon farming in Turkey (Ref. 13686). Cultured commercially in eastern Black Sea region, occasionally appearing in inland waters of the Black Sea coast apparently escapees from fish farms (Ref. 57271). Ref: FAO, 1997 | ||||
