The disease also occurred in the localities of Chiapas: Cedros; Quintana Roo: Box Toro, Cabañas, Cenote Azul, Gran Cenote, Laguna Guerrero, Laguna Ocón, Los Cuates, Mahahual, Noh-Bek, Ramonal, Raudales, Rió Hondo, Villa Hermoso; Tabasco: Balancán, Camellones Chontales, El Espino, El Guanal, Jonuta, Las ilusiones, Puyatengco, Teapa, Tenosique, Yucateco, Yumká; Yucatán: Baldiosera, Chaamac, Chen-há, Dzibilchaltún, Dzonot Cervera, Framboyán, Hodz-ob, Mitza, Noc-choncunchey, Petentuche, Progreso, Río Logartos.
