Abundance: abundant (always seen in some numbers) 
Comments: Occurs along the coast (Ref. 4925). Caught off Queen Charlotte Sound (Ref. 93933). Known from west coast of Vancouver Is., Prince Rupert, Queen Charlotte Islands and Strait of Georgia (Ref. 95143). Taken with hooks and lines and dipnets by game fishers who have a daily limit of 20 kg (Ref. 11007). Also Ref. 51601, 95147, 95155.
