Type locality of the holotype of Hemichromis jallae: 'Kazungula, haut Zambèse' (Ref. 97232). Known from the upper Zambezi (Ref. 246, 28667, 37065, 94654, 97235), Kafue (Ref. 246, 27607, 94654, 95585, 97235) and Luangwa (Ref. 11970, 97233). Also known from upper Congo River basin in the Luongo (Luapula River tributary) (Ref. 27609) and the Bangweulu area (Ref. 97233), including Kasanka National Park (Ref. 95585). |
