Found in Zhujiang River (East and North River) and West River [=Xi Jiang] (Ref. 26563). Type locality: San-ho Hsien, Kweichow (=Guizhou Province), elevation 650 feet (Ref. 33021). Known from Xinfeng county Xinfeng jiang of Dongjiang river system; and Zhaoguan city of Beijiang river system in Guangdong Province. Also known from Guangxi Province: Rongshui, Rongan.
