Known from Loch Eck in Scotland. Possibly present in Loch Awe (Argyll), Loch Lee (Angus), Loch Earn (Pertshire), and Loch Doon (Ayshire). Loch Doon population has been introduced in Megget and Talla reservoirs (Ref. 59043).
