Comments

Outside distributional range given by Ref. 36949; probably a misidentification. Reported from the Maeklong, Chao Phraya, Mekong, peninsular and southeast Thailand river systems (Ref. 26336). Large numbers formerly migrated between the Mekong mainstream and the Mun River, but this migration has been blocked by the Pak Mun hydroelectric dam (situated about 5 km up the Mun River from its mouth into the Mekong) (Ref. 35912); also from Chanthaburi, Kanchanaburi, Tak, Phrae, Mae Hong Son and Uthai Thani (Ref. 37773). Also Ref. 12693, 36654.
