Comments

Known from the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. Inhabits slow-flowing, well shaded forest streams. Solitary and with its cryptic coloration, strongly resembles a piece of dead leaf. Preys on small fishes and prawns. Sometimes found in the aquarium trade. Threatened due to habitat degradation and illegal collection. Its natural habitat in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve has been protected from human impacts (Ref. 85309).

Status of threat: critically endangered (Ref. 85350).
