Native (Ref. 11145). Recorded from the Ural river in 1948-1975 (Fishes of Kazakhstan, Vol. 5. 1992) ; Introduced to increase fish production of the Aral Sea. Has disappeared because of drying of the Aral Sea. Introduced but has disappeared in 2000 (E. Khurshut, pers. comm.). |
