Ranges from Cook Inlet (Ref. 6466) and Bristol Bay north and east to Oliktok Point on the arctic coast (Ref. 27547). Occurs in the Yukon River as far upstream as Fort Yukon; Porcupine River; mouth of Ship Creek, knik Arm, at Anchorage; Tolugak Lake in Anaktuvak Pass, Brooks Range and in the Kenai River on the Kenai Peninsula (Ref. 27547). Type locality: Point Barrow, Port Clarence on Yukon R., Alaska (Ref. 26282). Seasonally abundant where it occurs (ref. 27547). Taken by subsistence fishers in the Yukon and Kuskokwim rivers (Ref. 27547). Also Ref. 5723, 6876, 10280, 11366, 28503, 96339, 119194, 121277.
