Most of these were placed in a pond at Dulauan, Cotabato. When the Rio Grande de Mindanao flooded, the fish escaped and established in the Pulangi and its tributaries between Dulauan and Fort Pikit. Fry were also introduced in lakes Dapao and Nunungan, Lanao in 1916 (Ref. 2929). Introduced to Lake Mainit, Mindanao (Ref. 4867, 50320, 13446, 81829);including Kalinawan River (Ref. 81829), lakes Naujan and Taal (Ref. 13446); Laguna de Bay (Ref. 80824); Lake Paoay, Ilocos Norte; Magat R, Nueva Viscaya; Lake Bato and Lake Buhi, Camarines Sur; Cagayan River, Isabela (Ref. 280); Lake Buluan (Ref. 13492); and Lake Lanao (Ref. 13446, 81887, 95183). Collected from CLSU fish pond, Nueva Ecija and Lake Taal Laurel, Batangas as a living specimen (Ref. 81820). Recorded from Candaba Swamp and Pampanga River (Ref. 109918). Reported from Lake Manguao; 2003 study showed that this surface dwelling species feed on plankton and neuston, thrive in the littoral zone and are viviparous (Ref. 050862). Caused the extinction of 17 endemic cyprinid species and three genera of Lake Lanao (Ref. 12217, 13446, 81887). The loss of the endemic cyprinids has been attributed to the heavy predation by the species which was inadvertently stocked in the lake with Nile tilapia fingerlings coming from a government hatchery in Surigao del Norte (Ref. 48328). Nominal records of Glyphis gangeticus from the Philippines cannot be confirmed; these may be based in whole or in part on Carcharhinus leucas. Described from specimens caught in Laguna de Bay, at Calamba, Los Banos, Lumbang, Santa Cruz, Laguna (Ref. 280). The smallest important food fish in Laguna de Bay; caught in large quantities. Statistics by BFAR show dulong production from a high of 555 mt 1990 down to 190 mt in 2002 (Ref. 80730). Prepared as omelets or steamed in banana leaves, or as fish sauce. Museum specimens collected in 1983-84 from various localities, LRS-83113 (Ref. 13460). BMNH 1933.3.11.583-592. 
Gobiidae Gobiopterus stellatus (Herre, 1927) Fr endemic  Dwarf freshwater goby (English), Dolong (Tagalog)   Described from specimens collected in 1926 from a small mountain lake beside sitio Lanigay (Lake Lanigay), Polangui, Albay, Luzon. A hardy species, reaching maturity at about 1.5 cm long (Ref. 439). Reported from Lake Taal (Ref. 13446). 
Kraemeriidae Gobitrichinotus radiocularis Fowler, 1943 Fr, Br native   4.00 cm SL male/unsexed  Type locality, the Malabang River in Mindanao (Ref. 50838). Also Ref. 94476.  No picture yet.
Phallostethidae Gulaphallus bikolanus (Herre, 1926) Fr endemic   1.95 cm SL male/unsexed ;2.30 cm SL female  Type locality, Lake Bato, Camarines Sur and Lake Lanigay, Albay, southern Luzon. Both lakes are connected with tributaries of Bicol River which empties into San Miguel Bay of the China Sea (Ref. 12760). Museum: an immature male specimen, 1.95 cm SL, collected from type locality, was designated as lectotype by Böhlke, CAS-SU 24475. CAS-SU 18148 (paralectotypes). Phallostethidae Gulaphallus eximius Herre, 1925 Fr endemic   3.50 cm TL male/unsexed ;4.10 cm female  Specimens were collected from a creek at Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, Luzon, its type locality; 16 males, 1.9 - 3.5 cm and 19 females, 2.2 - 4.1 cm long (Ref. 12740). Also reported from Magat River and its tributaries, north of Santa Fe (Ref. 280). Described from a 3.4 cm TL (2.75 SL) male holotype (Philippine Fish and Game Administration No. 31778) collected from a gourami pond at Barrio Laput, Mexico, Pampanga, Luzon (Ref. 12766); CAS-SU 32356 (Ref. 12768).
