Rückenflossenstacheln (insgesamt): 0; Rückenflossenweichstrahlen (insgesamt): 0; Afterflossenstacheln 0; Afterflossenweichstrahlen: 0. Obscure dark saddle blotches at first and second dorsal bases, and two bands on the tail; dorsal fins and caudal tip without black terminal marking (Ref. 244).
