Épines dorsales (Total): 3; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 9-10; Épines anales 3; Rayons mous anaux: 5 - 6. Diagnosis: Labeobarbus pojeri differs from L. caudovittatus in absence of dark bands on the caudal fin and in the well ossified last unbranched dorsal-fin ray (Ref. 93587).
