Kurzbeschreibung Morphologie | Morphometrie

Rückenflossenstacheln (insgesamt): 11 - 13; Rückenflossenweichstrahlen (insgesamt): 9; Afterflossenstacheln 2; Afterflossenweichstrahlen: 6 - 8; Wirbelzahl: 26. This species is distinguished by the following characters: D XII spines; segmented lower caudal-fin rays 7; vertebrae 26; preopercular spines 5; upper jaw length equal to or a little shorter than lachrymal length; absence of distinct fleshy papillae on posterior portion of upper jaw; vomerine teeth absent; first lower jaw sensory pores on both sides fused; anterior position of isthmus well beyond fifth lower jaw sensory pore; 4 dorsal-fin spines anterior to third neural spine; interneural space between seventh and eighth neural spines with no dorsal-fin spine proximal pterygiophores (Ref. 83999).
