Épines dorsales (Total): 0; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 11; Épines anales 0; Rayons mous anaux: 10 - 11; Vertèbres: 50 - 51. Distinctive pigmentation on throat and venter; anus immediately anterior to the anal fin base; dentary teeth along entire distance from angle of the gape to the symphysis; lacking densely pigmented spots along the midlateral line (Ref. 36002).
