Épines dorsales (Total): 7; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 10-11; Épines anales 1; Rayons mous anaux: 19. 15 predorsal scales, reaching to above mid eyes. Body red with 4-5 narrow, backward directed light bars, a wide vertical bar in front of first dorsal fin and 3 forward directed bars on head.
