Morphologie | Morphométrie
Épines dorsales (Total): 3; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 127-131; Épines anales 1; Rayons mous anaux: 101 - 106; Vertèbres: 149 - 153. Color when preserved, head and body yellowish tan; all fin membranes hyaline; dusky dermal process on tip of each jaw clearly remained. Body extremely elongated, ribbon-like. Top of supraoccipital crest situated vertically above posterior margin of eye. Very slightly pigmented on upper part of anterior dorsal fin membranes. Posterior margin of preopercle clearly visible because clearly projected externally, but anterior margin of preopercle not clear. First anal fin spine base situated below 32nd-35th dorsal fin ray base (Ref. 44252).
