Distinguished by the combination of the following characters: P7/10; 48-50 + 1-2 scales along lateral line; all scales with a single keel; body depth 13.8-15.1% SL; body width 13.2-13.8% SL; eye diameter 15-16% HL; interorbital width 42-46% HL; pectoral fins not reaching pelvic fins.
Inhabit creeks with clear water and moderate current (Ref. 34782).
