背棘 (總數): 3; 背的軟條 (總數): 7; 脊椎骨: 43 - 44. A iii - 6; P i - 16 - 18; V i - 8. Body spots absent in adults. Elongated body with slightly convex dorsal profile. Head length somewhat longer than body depth. Snout length equal to postorbital head length. Lips well developed, lateral lobes of lower lip narrow, without folds, the median process is marked. Barbel slender, 1/2-2/3 of eye diameter. Dorsal spine slender, 2/3 of HL. Origin of dorsal fin equidistant between tip of snout and caudal base.
iii- 6; P i- 16- 18; V i- 8. 身體斑點不存在於成魚。 延長的身體有些微中凸的背面輪廓。 頭長略微長度超過體高。 吻的長度等於眼眶後的頭長。 唇發展良好的, 下唇的側葉狹窄的, 沒有摺層，中動脈突起被標示。 觸鬚細長的, 眼直徑中的 1/2-2/3。 背棘細長的, HL 中的 2/3。 背鰭起點距離相等的在吻尖與尾部的基底之間。
