خارهاي باله پشتي (کل): 0; شعاع نرم باله پشتي (کل): 58-63; خارهاي باله مخرجي 0; شعاع نرم باله مخرجي: 54 - 58. Head, fins and belly black; body paler, a dusky white, with small pigment spots (Ref. 12204). Lacks an adhesive disc and pelvic fins (Ref. 12204).
Probably feeds on comb jellies, cnidarians, salps and crustaceans (Ref. 12204). Spawning believed to occur almost year round (Ref. 12204).
