背棘 (總數): 4; 背的軟條 (總數): 8; 臀棘 3; 臀鰭軟條: 5. Preserved color yellowish brown, slightly dusky above, top of head brown; all fins pale. Dorsal profile low with a pronounced nuchal hump. 11 scales between nape and dorsal; 2.5 scales between ventrals and lateral line. Non-continuous post labial groove across the chin. Long snout broad and blunt, 3X in head.
保存標本的顏色土黃色，些微暗色上方, 頭頂褐色; 所有的鰭灰白的。 背面輪廓低的具有一個明顯的頸背隆起。 11個鱗片在後頸之間與背部的; 2.5 在腹面與側線之間的鱗片。 橫過下巴的非連續的後唇的凹槽。 長的吻寬而鈍的,3X 頭長比率。
