Rückenflossenweichstrahlen (insgesamt): 42-50; Afterflossenweichstrahlen: 33 - 38. Blue to brownish in color and darker spots dorsally, silver to whitish ventrally; juveniles with vertical bars on body and small black pelvic fins (Ref. 4410).
