Diagnostic characters: at 6 mm outlines of ventral fins located behind the lower orifice of the stomach. Caudal fin symmetrical, dorsal fin originates on 28th myomere. At 15-16 mm caudal well differentiated. Ventrals clearly visible. Pigmentation of caudal asymmetrical (Ref. 65). Body elongate with long straight gut; vent posterior to dorsal fin; last 2 anal rays become elongate in larger larvae.
